What is included in a standard cleaning?

The Standard cleaning includes all the basic cleaning that a property needs if it’s done with consistency every week or every two weeks.

Standard Cleaning Checklist:

Bedrooms:

  • All areas dusted-on top, on the front and underneath
  • Bed linens changed
  • Mirrors washed, cleaned and dried
  • Dust windowsills
  • Dust door frames and switch plates
  • Vacuum under the bed if accessible
  • Trash emptied
  • Baseboards and crown molding dusted
  • Lamp shades dusted
  • Ceiling fan dusted
  • Carpets vacuumed
  • Overall appearance of the room left neat and tidy

Bathrooms:

  • Tub thoroughly cleaned, rinsed, and left shining
  • Tiles and chrome cleaned and left shining
  • Sinks scrubbed and left shining/faucets checked
  • Toilets scrubbed inside and out including base and behind
  • Vanity top cleaned (all items removed and replaced)
  • Mirrors cleaned
  • Sills wiped down
  • Trash emptied
  • Baseboards and crown molding dusted 
  • Vacuum and/or mop floor

Living Areas:

  • All furniture dusted (all items moved and replaced)
  • Picture frames dusted
  • Dust windowsills
  • Cobwebs removed
  • Couch and cushions straightened
  • and vacuumed
  • Newspapers, magazines and books straightened
  • Hardwood or tile floors damp mopped
  • Lamp shades dusted
  • Glass tables cleaned
  • Baseboards and crown molding dusted
  • Ceiling fan dusted
  • Carpets vacuumed
  • Overall appearance of the room left neat and tidy

Kitchen:

  • Outside of cabinets cleaned
  • Outside of drawers cleaned
  • Clean top and front of stove
  • Dust baseboards and crown moldings
  • Dust windowsills
  • Vacuum
  • Wipe down switch plates, doors
  • Mop floors
  • Make it look as new as possible
